Hi! I'm Laurel.
I am a newborn and family photographer who works with relaxed, fun-loving families to document playful moments of genuine connection.
My style in life, work, and art is genuine, playful, and down-to-earth. I’m a bit of a homebody with a huge, soul-filling love of the gorgeous nature of the Pacific Northwest. These are also my two favorite places to photograph families - cozied up in their homes or out in the wild, lush, wonderful landscape we live in.
I love to capture intimacy, play, and little details. I adore quiet spaces where emotion can fill the room - while also embracing the chaos and mess that is real life. I hope to hold space for the real and the raw and the deeply personal in a world of filters and “good vibes only”.

You probably take a million pictures of your kids. You might even squeeze yourself into some of them!
But how often do you get to step outside of the scene and witness it as a whole?
I’m a big believer in noticing and honoring the little things in life - the ephemeral details and everyday moments that make up our days.
I’m here to document the glow in your eyes as you cuddle your baby, the warmth of your partner’s touch, the joy in your child’s face as they run toward (or away from) you; in short, the simple beauty of your everyday connection.
